Asked by Xfm (London's Rock Station), what advice would give someone who wants to do what you do? Zoë Ball replied:

"It depends, if you want to marry a musician, have kids, become a housewife and live by the sea, go for it but make sure you get a good 'un. Marry for the sex (and love!) not for money (though it helps). If you want to be TV Totty, don't bother. There are too many out there trying to present too many shows that are really not good. Stay in school and learn something real, like acting or teaching or law. If you want to work in radio just keep loving music and fight for stations that love music."
