About Zoë Ball

Zoë ball is regarded as one of the nicest British television and radio personalities of our time and this site is a tribute to Zoë and her fans and for those of you who wish to find out more.  Zoë presented the Radio 1 breakfast show in 1997 with Kevin Greening and eventually went on to be the first female ever to present the show solo.  Zoë presented the breakfast show until her friend Sara Cox took over in March 2000.

As well as being entertaining on numerous television and radio shows she is also a devoted mother.  She married Norman Cook (Fatboy Slim) the Famous DJ in August 1999 and has one son called Woody who was born in 2000.

Her television work includes co presenting the reality show Strictly Dance Fever in 2005 and taking part in the sister show Strictly Come Dancing as a contestant during 2007.  She also presented the talent show Grease is the Word on ITV in 2007.  

In October 2009 Zoë partnered once again with old co-host Jamie Theakston to present the Channel Five TV quiz show Britain's Best Brain. The Show is sponsored by Nintendo DS who have also made an online version of the game.

In 2011, Zoë was delighted to be chosen as presenter of "Strictly Come Dancing - It Takes Two".

Zoë is the daughter of another famous television and radio presenter Johnny Ball. He is known for popularising science and technology for the young in the 70’s and 80’s in his unique and entertaining way.
